January 9, 2009

Yesterday, I helped Pam and Gail make cinnamon rolls for Missions Fest 2009. We used the kitchen at church and tripled two batches of dough. I went to pick up Jake from school and Pam and Gail left the kitchen for a few minutes. This is what it looked like when they returned....I am glad this isn't Pam's first time in an "industrial" kitchen because I would have packed up and headed to Dillons! :)

260 cinnamon rolls and 300+ cookies later, we were ready for Missions Fest..............This next picture was taken earlier in the day when we still had energy! We weren't this photogenic at 6:00 when we left!
I really enjoyed hanging out with the Pam and Gail. It had been months since we were able to get caught up. We had been meeting 1-2 times monthly for "Life After Perspectives" (LAP) until August. Since Luke had his surgery, Gail and Tami adventures in China, an adoption of Abraham, etc. it has been awhile since we have had prayer group. You know who your friends are because you can pick up where you left off without missing a beat.......
