Boys will be boys!

Friday and Saturday we had a lot of snow and ice (for those of you who don't live in Kansas). It warmed up today so the boys went outside. What you can't tell in this picture is there is a big mud puddle just off the patio, you know, where the boys' dumptrucks are parked. I should have been prepared for what I was going to see next. The boys got behind their Tonka trucks and ran as fast as they could into the mud/snow/ice mixture until they wiped out.....In case you wondering this game was called "wipe out".

Jacob is pouting because Ben decided he was cold and wanted to come inside.

Ben, need I say more?????

Jake...

The boys soaked in water and mud. Trooper wouldn't get out of the way when I was taking pictures.

Happy? Definitely!
Would I trade them for girls? NO WAY!

  2. Ben and Jacob, looks like you really had a good time. How did Trooper stay so white and clean? Your G'pa Jim and I used to play outside in the rain and snow, then come in and let our clothes dry over the floor furnace while we played Monopoly. Then we would go back outside again and again. Angie and Luke, you are great parents to let them do that. What fun! Love you, Aunt Leslie
